The Subaru Brat instructions say not to use thread lock in assembling the car.
Both the blue and red thread lock tech notes say they are to be used on metal only, not plastic.
So I am a little confused.

the thread lock is for the front axels only!!! part #MD7/8 and that is only if they are loose from the factory. If nice and tight you should be fine. You will need the thread lock later after you run it then and you see what rattles loose

I figure on all my 10th scale cars I take them apart every so often anyway so using thread lock would just make things more difficult for me so I don't ever use it. Build it, run it and after a couple of runs, give the car a check over and snug up all screws and as needed. It's a good habit to get into as it forces you to check over other parts as well that may get worn out or may be getting ready to fail. Just my 2 cents. ;D
