Despite having been there numerous times directions would help. Take it from coming up 470 from I-25.
Is it 285 then? I have little image snippets in my mind, but can't put them all together - especially all the winding roads at the end.

So here's what you'll be looking at tomorrow.. You'll notice it is a little different. The bars on the right are yout fuel and tire indicators and will start to blink at you when the get to the 20% mark. Ther also will be a vocal warning of low fuel etc. The way the computer is set up now, we have 6 racers, 20 minute heats and everyone races 6 heats. 2 minutes in between heats. Work on you car other than tire cleaning can only be done during a heat you are racing or in between heats that you are in both. Make sense.

TMI! IMHO, it was better the way you had it before because you don't really need to see how much your tires are wearing and if I had my way, I'd turn off all the verbal stuff too. Leave it up to the driver to pay attention to his car.

I will leave the bars,,,a lot easier to see, but I do agree on the verbal stull. I will shut those down except for "in the pits" and "fueling done etc"
The way its set up now,, I ran a 20 minute heat and it looks like I had to pit about every 60 laps (appox 5 min). So thats not too bad. Fuel and tires looked to go down at the same rate but it takes a little longer to get 4 tires than just getting gas so don't jump the gun.
See you all tomorrow.
So it will take 4 hrs to run 12 heats (assuming 6 racers) not including the 2 minutes I have programed for in between heats and possibly a break at the half way point. So lets try to get this bad boy started on time 1:30. Doors are open at noon,, food will be available then and hopefully thru-out the race(chips etc),,,if you have anything speacial you want to bring feel free.

Thanks Dave, that was a lot of fun. The Cartrix cars did really well - no real problems, and actually the 2 hours of driving wasn't so bad, though I'll bet the last 40 minutes solo was a bit taxing for you. Congrats on your win. And, thanks to you and Nancy for the great grub.
I for one, really like the pit stop part, though I probably would have DNF'd in one of the earlier heats if someone hadn't said something. You really had to keep sharp, while still trying to get into a driving rhythm. Quite a challenge. I think that may be one of the reason why the 20 minute heats seemed to go by quickly.
Thanks also to Jim Neill racing for going 9 seconds slower than I did. If I figure it right, Jim had to post 715 laps the second go through, which was the best three-heat total of all of us.
