So I'm just putting this out here to see if we can come up with a semi regular race schedule. Something like once or twice a month on the weekends that hopefully works around everyones schedule. I know Marc has a weird Saturday thing where he works a few Saturdays then is off a few Saturday. (I think I heard him say this). So maybe if we run we can rotate between Saturday and Sundays so that he can race as much as possible. Not meaning to say revolve the schedule around 1 person but try to get everyones schedules or likes and come up with the best of all worlds. As for classes and such I was wondering if we could maybe just have 1 or 2 main classes that we run for some period of time and then also run different things as support races. As for a championship,, could we just keep drivers points across all classes and just have an overall winner say every 4 or 6 months. Okay I'm outta breath now so I'll let someone else talk.....

I know Marc wants to run the ALMS series so maybe we could do a round robin on every ones tracks and have one of Dave's classes at each race as a support.

Yeah I wouldn't mind running ALMS. I had thought that maybe find out what people had already built for the other clubs races and maybe at least get some use out of them. I know Jim has done a lot of tuning for the ALMS so it seems a shame not to go ahead with running the suckers.

I would be up for some modern NASCAR and classic F-1.
The first and third Saturday of the month are difficult for me to make, but not impossible, I have my daughter on those Saturdays.

I know a lot of people tried to get the Fly M1 as a series so I'd like to run that. Classic F1 gets the nod too.
With regards to which series we do end up running, what if we run for as long or as short as we want? What I mean is say we run car x and get tired of it after a couple of races. we say we're done with it and pick up another series and so on. We'll keep a running score and have an overall winner at the end of say, 6 months. That should keep the classes broad and varied.

Thats sorta what i was trying to say with keeping "drivers" points not just series points. We could run a number of types of cars over a set period.

I think Mark and Dave's idea for keeping drivers points is a good one.

I like the driver's points and the classes that have been suggested. Is Carrera the only company that makes the COT nascars?

So we could do a series championship and then a drivers championship taken from the support races.
